In depth
History: Short lived FL car, imported within the year to CA. I am 3rd owner. All services done on time, and by the [only] Factory owned dealership in the world: Ferrari of San Francisco.
Last 30K belts out service done June '06. Last all fluids svc. done Dec. '06.
Modifications: None, with exception of Radio, from stock to Alpine.
Problems: Fuse box, replaced. Rewired entire car due to fuse box concerns. Replaced numerous switches, which is more problematic in terms of console removal etc. [labor intensive], switches cost only $10, but takes hours to get to it. Seat belt mice = problems. Top never up except for service, but if used, this is a trick.
Comments: Took out someones idea of an alarm. Redid A/C to newer specs, then back again: newer one not as good as original. Typical mouse-belts a problem, constantly fixing. Top never up! Quick car, easy driver in terms of gears: not requiring too much consideration on road or about town. Very good in curves where it hugs road, and you feel very confident, unlike the 456 GT which is heavy and good for GT freeway conditions as best. The Mondial T is great with no tail loss under/over steer. Fun, but not like the 456, 12cyl. BEAST!...
